THE PREGNANCY AFTER LOSS BIRTH COURSE
Childbirth education to prepare, support and honour your journey as you bring your earth-side baby home

“Kristin, your Birth Course gave me the knowledge and tools I didn’t even realize I needed. I felt so much more prepared walking into my birth after loss. Every module felt like it was speaking directly to my heart.”
Leah
“I honestly took so much away from the birth course – I have so much birth trauma from when I delivered my baby and I knew I wanted to prepare for birth again, but didn't want to take just some crunchy birth course that didn't take him and my history into consideration. Every PAL mama deserves this."

The Pregnancy, Birth & Postpartum Education Course
for loss moms, by a loss mom
Getting a positive pregnancy test for most people means a pretty predictable journey. Some nausea, a few scans, a baby shower, and – by the end, a beautiful baby you get to treasure for the rest of your life.
But to any mom whose experienced pregnancy loss, or the trauma of their baby dying, finding out you’re expecting again is a lot more complicated than two pink lines.
If you’re pregnant again after losing your baby, you probably have a lot of conflicting thoughts and emotions, like…
Everyone says pregnancy and birthing a baby is the most natural thing on earth – but your body failed you before. Now you’re supposed to just trust it won’t happen again?
You wish your doctor took you this seriously during your last pregnancy – and even if it’s not their fault, you feel slightly resentful or distrustful of what they say
Part of you feels like you should just be grateful you have another chance – but this baby will never replace the one you lost, this joy cannot take away that pain
You don’t know if you’re being cautious enough, or if you’re too hypervigilant – there isn’t really a framework for you to understand what this pregnancy should feel like
You wish you could be excited to prepare your nursery, pick out names or dream of the future – but you just can’t handle the idea of investing in this emotionally only to lose it all again
You want to be able to do whatever is best for you and your baby – but you aren’t clear on what ‘best’ really looks like anymore. Everyone has a different opinion.
You feel guilty for being happy and then guilty for feeling so sad – you know this can’t replace another, but don't want your happiness to be perceived as you replacing or moving on from the one you lost
You don’t know who to listen to and what to believe – you struggle to hear your own voice beneath the noise of all your fears
Before you lost your baby…
It was probably pretty easy to visualize your ideal pregnancy and birth. Maybe you dreamed of a home-birth in front of the fireplace, your head in your partner's lap as the sunrise paid homage to the new life you brought into the world. And what a beautiful dream.
But now – ?
Your top priority is just a living baby, nestled safely in your arms…
(And honestly? That makes so much sense…)
But that doesn’t mean how you feel during your pregnancy and birth doesn’t matter.

Kristin’s Story
If you don’t know me yet…
PAL expert, Doula, founder of The Haven, birth educator, loss mom – and now mama to my earth-side baby Sena.
But the road to here was long and winding. I lost 4 little ones, including my daughter Vienna and son William before I carried my first living daughter home with me. To say it was traumatizing is an understatement.
When I was pregnant with my first daughter Vienna, I dreamed big. I romanticized every moment. I saw it all: the moment my water would break, my husband stroking my hair and telling me how strong I was, my Doula walking me through the final moments as I would bring my baby into this world at home, in the place where we would be a family together…
But life didn’t work out like that.
After so much loss, it was hard to dream. It was hard to imagine. It was hard to plan, to pick names, to be excited. And then the joy would pour in and I’d be floored with hope– before spiraling back into fear. The things that mattered to me before – namely how present, joyful and calm I could be during this process – simply felt far less important than whatever it took to get my baby home safe. After loss, I found myself confused about my options, about the things that once mattered – this new loss mom version was caught somewhere between the crunchy birth world I knew (and worked in) and not wanting to take ANY risks at all.

pregnancy after loss is hard.
There’s no way around that. I’d love to promise you that with the right information, support and care, it’ll be easy. It won’t.
You’re going to struggle. You’re going to not know what to think. You’re going to doubt yourself and your care providers and everything else.
But I can promise you that white knuckling your way through it won't make it any easier
HERE’S THE TRUTH…
Fear comes from uncertainty– and while nothing will ever be certain, arming yourself with the right tools, knowledge, support and options allows you to take back your power – step through your fear – and reclaim trust in your body and motherhood – in a whole new way.
Pregnancy after loss requires a different kind of preparation
— and that’s exactly why I created this course.

The PAL Birth Course to prepare, support and honour your journey as you bring your earth-side baby home

RECLAIM is a 12-module trauma-informed pregnancy, birth and postpartum education course designed specifically for loss moms, by a loss mom (and doula).
It doesn’t matter whether you want to schedule a c-section from day one, or prefer a water birth at home– what matters is feeling empowered, confident and fully informed as you rewrite your story, honour grief and joy – and bring your rainbow baby home.
Imagine a world where…
♡ You approached your due date feeling prepared, grounded and empowered – you knew what your body was doing, without second-guessing how to support it
♡ You could walk into your care providers’ office with the right questions – build a clear birth plan, and a backup (or two) for any necessary deviations
♡ You felt totally capable of advocating for you and your baby’s needs – your nervous system was practiced in staying grounded, you were well versed in your choices and clear on where and what your boundaries are
♡ You didn’t need to rely exclusively on your physician, midwife or even your doula – you felt radically responsible for your own pregnancy and birth, fully tapped into your body, in-tune with your intuition and leaning into the connection between you and your baby
♡ You knew that your strength and resilience is your superpower – understanding the magic of the female body, and that the love and desire you have to meet your baby is what will carry you through the tough moments
♡ You could hold space for both grief and joy in one messy human heart – that this experience could never erase your past, but it doesn’t mean your pain will define your future.

Birth has a lot of uncertainties, but the way you prepare will make a world of difference in how bringing your baby into the world
actually goes
RECLAIM will give you the tools, knowledge and support you need to journey through this pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience – heart-centred, grounded, informed and ready to meet your baby.

KIND WORDS FOR RECLAIM:

This is for you if…
You are currently pregnant after experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, TFMR, or infant loss – mama I see you, I feel you, I’m with you 🤍
You are looking for resources, tools and support to prepare emotionally, mentally, and physically – for bringing your rainbow baby into this world
Despite your fears and grief, you want to feel more grounded and connected to this pregnancy journey – and the baby you’re preparing to welcome home
You want to learn everything you need to know about pregnancy, birth and postpartum – from another loss mom who didn’t just *survive* her rainbow pregnancy, but also found ways to celebrate, honour and even enjoy it.
You are NOT currently pregnant after loss – unless you want to buy this course for your partner, friend, sister, daughter, loved one… 🤍
You don’t feel affected by losing your baby or having a miscarriage – everyone experiences motherhood in different phases and ways, but if you don’t identify as a loss mom, this isn't for you
You’re just want to make it through this pregnancy and do what you’re told– please feel free to take a birth course through your physician if that’s all you’re into
You really could use a safe space for sisterhood and one-on-one doula support from someone who intimately understands PAL – join us in The Haven 🌷
THE TRUTH IS…
Grief & loss changes you forever – and it would be insulting and naive to imagine the loss of your baby won’t affect you for the rest of your life.
But that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to feel joy, calm, excitement and even hope in this pregnancy.
Let’s reclaim your voice, your joy, your motherhood in a whole new way.

This sounds great, but…
I have a high risk pregnancy and am not planning a home-birth — do I really need this course?
I don’t care if you have a c-section scheduled, plan a hospital birth or want to deliver in a field of flowers – this course isn't about your birth plan (although you’ll learn all about that) – it’s about making sure you have true, fully informed consent on whatever you are choosing in your pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience.
Other birth courses are cheaper than yours…
You’re right. And if you want, you can take a free course at the hospital and learn how to be a good patient, follow hospital policies and do exactly what you’re told. But if you want to feel radically responsible for your own birth, for bringing your own child into this world on your terms with YOUR voice and YOUR baby’s health and safety as the priority – I’d encourage you to reconsider. Empowered is designed specifically for pregnancy after loss. It factors in your fears, grief, risks and trauma. It teaches you to navigate a pregnancy and birth that isn’t only sunshine and rainbows. That is a very real and very honest look at the reality of being pregnant after loss. It’s worth the investment. And if you hate it, which you won’t – email me and I’ll give you your money back.*
I already have a doula – won’t they teach me what I need?
A good doula will help prepare you for your birth and answer all your questions – but this course supplements everything you will learn and so much more. But the truth is, most doulas do not have an intimate understanding of what it is like to lose a baby – which means they can’t prepare you in the same way that this course can. Taking this birth course alongside your doula’s support will ONLY help you on the day of your birth and beyond.
Can my partner do this with me?
There are MANY tools included within this course that are specifically for your partner – so yes, please include your partner as much as possible. Plus, so many mamas who’ve taken this course have told me that sharing it with their partner helped them really understand how to best support you in your pregnancy and labour, but also the complicated emotions they were going through. Even when you have a beautiful partner who would literally do anything to take your pain away – it’s hard to fathom, hard to really grasp. With this course, you and your partner can learn, grieve, grow and dream, together.
Prepare, Support and Honour your journey as you bring your Earth-side baby home
A 12-Module Pregnancy, Birth and Postpartum Education Course designed specifically for the unique needs of a Mother who is pregnant after loss

The journey of a mother grieving her child has to be the loneliest experience in the world…
Even when you’re surrounded by love and supported on so many levels.
But you’re here because your desire was greater than your fear. Somehow, somewhere, inside you – you knew there was a little one waiting for you.
When you are driven and aligned with your heart, the courage will come – even if it’s shrouded in fear and anxiety.
Even if you don’t feel ready. But you're here. And that means something.
This course is your space to prepare — not just physically, but also emotionally — for a pregnancy, birth and new journey into motherhood that honors everything you’ve been through, and everything to come.
Loved by mamas just like you
